I am the current Worshipful Master of this Lodge, having been installed in October.

That is me with my two sons.

Having been Installed in October, I had the privilege of making a Mason in December and welcoming a fellow Scot into the Lodge. Our March meeting will be a raising, and in May, which will be last meeting before Installing my successor, will be a passing where our APGM will be presenting a 50 year certificate to this Lodge’s very first initiate.

A very busy but fulfilling year for the Lodge. Being a proud Scot I have managed to pressgang the members into supporting our friends at Kingston Aero Lodge at their Burns Night supper in aid of Charity.

Moving on to Charity. I intend to prioritise 3 charities to help during my Mastership

This doesn't mean we ignore everyone else indeed the Poppy Appeal has already received it's donation that the Lodge traditionally gives every year from our October meeting.

Mission Statement

"We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect."

Being a mental health nurse, naturally I will be doing my best to raise much needed funds for mental health care. My chosen charity in this field is Mind.

They are doing good work helping with this very serious but rarely spoken about illness .Please click in their Logo to find out more about them, you may even wish to support them yourself.

As a non Masonic Charity we will make our donations through the Surrey for Surrey Fund, which combines all donations made to this charity from all Surrey Lodges, leading to a single larger donation.

Mission Statement

"We provide support to Masonic families to relieve a financial, health or family need and we award grants to community support and research projects."

We will be continuing to support the the Masonic Charitable Foundation in raising funds for the R.M.B.I  through the Surrey Provincial 2019 Festival

Again there is a link in the Logo.

The Province has currently raised £1.8 million towards its target of £3.25 million by the Festival end.

At this point I would like to have the opportunity to Welcome any Masons in good standing to come and visit us at one of our regular meetings, as the more visitors we get the more enjoyable the meeting is. As well as the additional camaraderie it also means an extra few pounds in the raffle going towards these worthy causes. You are also more than welcome at our Charity Events namely the Worshipful Masters- Masters Golf Day & The Morden Park Express RAT Train

Many thanks to those who can come and join us.
